Sydnee at 3 months old
Time has quickly gone by and my little cutie is already 3 months old. I have enjoyed this sweet one in our home and don't want her to grow up to soon. She is still a great baby and is sleeping around 6 hrs through the night. She is starting to train me by whining every time I step away from her...little stinker! She knows I will come right back to her and when I do she gives me lots of smiles. We are finally getting her to giggle and she likes to hold her stuffed elephant and likes her minky blanket by her face when she sleeps. She is such a JOY!
Crazy hairday
For crazy hair day at school this is what Logan came up with. All I have to say is YIKES! He was needing a haircut but wanted to wait so he could put his hair in kennady's elastics. He was happy with it and said he got alot of compliments and the girls especially liked it :)
Wyatt and Kennady had fun doing it as well. I guess I didn't get a picture with the camera but have it on my cell so I will have to get it posted eventually. Wyatt got a buzz so he went with Lego stickers all over his head and Kennady did a braid on half her head, a ponytail on the other with a few different hair bows and elastics. They both looked cute.

New Carpet
The day finally came when I got my wish of getting new carpet. I have waited patiently for 2 years for this to happen and Aaron finally said it was time. YAHOO! We bought our home 10 years ago and the carpet was so light that even after many carpet cleanings it always looked dirty and dingy, and looked worn out. It was alot of work getting ready for it but well worth it!
We decided to tear out all the carpet and pads ourselves. Aaron told the kids that they would get 10 cents for every staple they pulled out of the floor, thinking that they would get sick of it real quick but Logan caught on real quick and did the math. Yup $70 later we had to call it quits. They ended up pulling out more than what needed to be, but they were a HUGE help and we are grateful they did it. We are also very grateful for great neighbors, friends, and family who were so willing to not only come and help us move the big furniture but to bring us dinner on the day we got the carpet. Thank you to everyone!!!!
Here are the pictures of our crazy torn up house.
Furniture crammed into the computer room- We did that room last after the rest of the house was done.
Kids were sleeping on the floor but thought it was the greatest thing ever.
This was the downstairs bathroom chuck full of whatever we could fit in there. I even had stuff shoved in the shower to make more room. You don't realize how much crap you have until you do something like this or are moving.
The boys room was finished with the new carpet so while we went to work on the rest of the house, they entertained themselves with a movie. Sydnee even joined in and actually was tuned into the t.v.
I am glad to say that the carpet is all finished and it feels so great to have it done and over with. It was alot of work! The great thing about it is that as each room was finished I washed walls, baseboards and dusted blinds so my spring cleaning is done. Boy does it feel good to get it out of the way.

Easter Weekend- Green River
Once again we headed to Green River over Easter weekend for our first camping trip for the spring and summer months. The kids look forward to it every year, probably because they just love camping! This year the highlight of the trip for the kids was shooting BB guns...even Kennady. Wyatt found a new hobby I think. Every minute he wasn't shooting the gun he was asking if he could. It was fun to see him get so excited.
The first couple of days were pretty windy so I was stuck in the trailer most of the time with Sydnee, which I actually kind of enjoyed. I guess when you know it's your last kid you try and enjoy them as much as you can. The last few days were nice and the sun came out to warm things up a bit. The kids and dad went on a long 4-wheeler ride, the kids did their annual Easter egg hunt, the food and company was great as always, and the last night the kids watched meet the Henderson's outside on a projector. It was good fun and it turned out to be a successful trip with the baby.

The Easter bunny brought Sydnee a new swimsuit for the summer. The boys got new shorts and Kennady got a new spring dress, along with more Easter basket treats. Not sure why I don't have pictures of the big kids with their stuff...oh well.

I even got a chance to do a little shooting myself. Even though I didn't ever hit the target I came close quite a few times.
The girlies :)
The kiddos enjoying their treats...mmmm
