HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
"7"
SEPTEMBER 19, 2012
To start out celebrating Wyatt and Kennady's birthday, the primary presidency came to the house at the first of the month and wished them a happy birthday and gave them these cupcakes.  They were excited!

You can't have a birthday without celebrating with the whole family.  Here are pictures of their family b-day party.

Wyatt and Kennady decided they wanted to handout gummy bears to their classes for their birthday.  Here are 52 handouts I ended up putting together.

This was first thing in the morning on their birthday.  They were so excited to open their gifts!
Kennady was super happy with her nano and dream light

Logan gave Wyatt a Lego sticker book...he loved it!
Wyatt was super excited about getting a Lego dump truck set that he could put together by himself and was even happier when he saw that he got his own power scooter.

When I was in the craft store getting the bags for their treat handouts I thought it would be fun to have class mates sign a shirt.  I saw the cute decorative duct tape and these were their shirts they ended up with.  They had a lot of fun with this and it made their birthday last all day.

Kennady had been asking me a few times if I would go and eat school lunch with her so I thought their b-day would be the perfect day to do it.  Dad was even able to come and join us!

After school got out we met a few friends and went over to Toads fun zone.  On their b-day Toads will put $25 on their toads card if you bring in their birth certificate and show them.  Both Wyatt and Kennady had a hay day going through that $25 dollars on a bunch of games.  Glad it wasn't my money :)

Later that night we sang happy birthday one more time and had some rainbow cake before bedtime.  They had a great birthday!!  I am sad to see them growing up so quickly but have enjoyed watching them become themselves.
Happy Birthday Wyatt and Kennady!!

MOTHER OF THE YEAR!!!

Well I am a little embarrassed to write about this but want to for memory sake.  So here I go...the other morning we were doing our school morning routine.  That is: RUSHING to get to the bus on time.  I have a few kids who like to procrastinate a bit. :)  So this particular morning we were close to missing the bus and we were literally running out the door.  We hop in the car and get to the bus stop and as I was sitting there for maybe 30 seconds I thought to myself "what am I forgetting/missing?"  OH CRAP!!!  I had left Sydnee at home.  Yup I am seriously the worst mom ever!  If she would of been in her crib asleep or in her saucer playing, it wouldn't of been so bad.  But since she is crawling and I left her in the kitchen area next to the stairs, I was frantically rushing home to hopefully not hear her screaming at the bottom of the stairs.  I came running through the door and she was still in the same area where I left her.  She popped her head up and starting kicking her feet and gave me a big smile like she was excited to see me.  I had a few tears come to my eyes.  I really can't believe that I just "forgot" her!  So with that I'm pretty sure I will never forget her again.  I felt horrible!!

The kids FORT

Our neighbor had given us a huge cardboard box for the kids to do whatever they wanted with it.  One Sunday the kids said they were going to go and build a fort with it. I assumed it would only be with the box but as I looked out the window to check on them I noticed they were using a cooler, my patio chair pads, bricks and 2x4's.  The final result of the fort was:  they each had their own room with their name posted on blue duct tape.  They each had their own "mattress" and they built a standing flag.  They were super excited about how it turned out and dad and I were loving it also.  They did a really good job and I'm sad I didn't get better pictures of what the inside looked like.

Sydnee (7&8 month pics)

Once again this little cutie pie is growing up way to fast.  These are pictures of her from 7-8months.  Within the past few months she has learned how to crawl.  Oh crap is what I was thinking!  As much as I love to see the "milestones"  It just gets a little harder with having to keep an eye on her now.  Oh and the fact that when she first crawled into the kitchen and grabbed for some "stale food" from the floor...I realized the up keep I have to do with making sure floors are clean and their aren't small objects that she can choke on....AKA lego's, lego's, lego's.  She is pulling herself up to the first stair and I have a feeling it's not going to take long for her to figure out how to get up the rest.  She is still such a good baby and we love having her in the family.
7 MONTHS!

She has figured out how to pull herself up to the crib
These last 2 pictures are of her at 8 MONTHS.  This first one she had conked her head and starting crying.  She had one little tear drop on her face and I thought it was cute to get a picture of it.

As I posted the pictures I noticed she has the same outfit on as the pictures I took at 7 months.  I guess we like this outfit. :)

Logan and Lego's

Logan loves to spend time building and playing with lego's.  I can't even tell you how many bins of lego's we have. (To many)  He is very good at either building a new set from a box or just building random things from a bunch of single lego's.  Logan saved up his money from cutting lawns this summer to get this Star Wars turbo tank.  It had 1140 pieces and he built it all on his own and it only took him 2 days working on it a little bit at a time.  I am pretty impressed!

First day of school

Another school year is ahead of us.  Logan will be in 5th grade and Wyatt and Kennady start 1st grade.  I can't believe that Wyatt and Kennady will be in school all day.  I am excited as well as a little sad.  They are getting so big and I feel like their toddler years flew right by.  I am excited though to have most of the day with just Sydnee so I can maybe get some things done around the house. Or have a house that stays clean for more than 15 minutes. :)  Here are the kids at the bus stop!
This is Wyatt and his buddies Neil and Bentley
Our kiddos with their friends Ty and Riley

Labor day weekend

Montpelier, Idaho:
Some friends of ours invited us to go camping with them at some property in Idaho. There was a place for the kids to ride their motorcycles for endless hours and they even got to experience riding some horses as well as learning how to move some horses from one pasture to another.  I'm not going to write much on this trip because all we really did was those two things...ride a horse and ride motorcycles around.
                                                                   Wyatt
                                                                 Logan
                                                                   Kennady

                                                             Our friend Chad

The boys:  Logan, Tyson & Justin

Aaron doing a little jumping :)

This horse was crazy!  It was a little hyper to begin with but when our friend went to put Wyatt up on the horse it freaked out and Aaron literally had Wyatt by one arm and had to swing him up on the horse while it was prancing around.  It was almost one of those things you see on a western movie...it was a little scary!

Logan wanted nothing to do with the horses but we ended up talking him into riding one.  He said it was alright.

It was yet another successful camping trip!
